Launch of Connect Well Leeds North
Our new Connect Well Leeds North service held their welcome event at the Reginald Centre in Leeds on July 14th. The event started with a speech from Councillor Eileen Taylor, a short video about the new service then activities connected to the 5 ways to wellbeing.
We’d like to say a big thank you to Leeds Peoples Choir who facilitated a group sing along. Although some of us were hesitant singing in public, the choir made everyone feel welcome and the activity proved to be very uplifting and a great social activity. We’d also like to thank the Health Champions and the staff at the Reginald Centre for making the other activities so enjoyable and informative.
We received some really positive feedback from people who attended to say that they enjoyed the afternoon. Not only that, Made For Leeds filmed the event for their news slot that evening – Made in Leeds TV news report
All in all, it was a great success and we’re very proud of all Connect Well staff members
